White Cockatoo

White Cockatoo

In many Indigenous cultures there are sacred totems to identify tribes and language groups. Each totem is a recognisable symbol of nature. This symbol has spiritual significance to a tribe, connecting them to the land while maintaining harmony with the earth.

In White Cockatoo, Henry’s brother is getting married. There will be a ceremonial campfire and everyone will take part. But Henry is not sure what to do. As Henry works to prepare for the celebration, he listens to the cockatoos and thinks of a way to commemorate his brother’s special day.
